Think Wolfpits was just trying to have a discussion among friends. Nothing wrong with that. I think that there are people that have tattoos that mean a lot to them and that's cool, but whenever something is popular you are going to have lemmings that follow a trend. As with most things in life it comes down to the individual. I'm not going to like you for your tats, but if you are willing to stand up for something (tattooed on your arm or not) I commend you. Oh, and PiP's love for tattooed men is a good topic!
I think the trendy part depends on where you live. No one where I do has many. (that you can at least see @ least)

Good topic. Have2 of them (SxDx skelli and Stray cat head) for over 15 years. Don't regret them a bit, but agree that they're way to trendy....I'd rather spend my money on other things like old LPs (starting to be a hobby!) and good bourbon.
Oh and for the record, if I see someone walk by with some good ink, I still stop and admire....
Ive been holding my tongue on this one, hoping someone would just say the obvious. Tattoos should be a personal... i repeat personal form of expression. I dont care if my sleeves are now trendy in 2007, they weren't in 1997. I dont give a shit if someone with a body suit of tattoos thinks I dont have enough or someone with no ink thinks im following the flock. The end of the day they are on me ....ah I feel better now.

i do, however, have a nice collection of track spikes--close to 40, but i've been selling a few lately. no tats on me tho.
